MENSAGEM DA AME INTERNACIONAL SOBRE A DESENCARNAÇÃO DE VANDERLEI MARQUES

Our friend Vanderlei Marques has gone back to the spiritual world.

After battling a long illness, on December 15 Vanderlei Marques, one of the outstanding leaders of the Spiritist movement in the United States and our friend of many years, left the physical plane.

Vanderlei was a lawyer by training and a gifted administrator by nature. He was the current president of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Maryland (AKSS-Md) and past president of the United States Spiritist Council (USSC). It was in this capacity that in October, 2006, he co-organized with the International Spiritist Medical Association (AME – Int) the First U. S. Spiritist Medical Congress in Rockville, Md. This event, whose guest speakers included renowned Brazilian and American researchers specializing in religion and health, was a milestone in the young American spiritist movement and helped launch in that same year the U. S. Spiritist Medical Association (SMA-US).

We will miss Vanderlei’s physical presence, his friendship and guidance. But we know that this is for a limited time. When our present journey shall come to an end, we will be together again to continue our work in the eternal life.

We pray to Jesus that Vanderlei may have a peaceful re-entry into the spiritual world, being embraced by his loved ones that preceded him on this trip, and that his earthly family and friends may find the necessary strength to cope with his physical absence.

DESENCARNOU EM UBERABA, MG DONA APARECIDA CONCEIÇÃO FERREIRA

Desencarnou na manhã desta terça-feira 22/12/2009, às 9 horas, em Uberaba, MG, Dona Aparecida Conceição Ferreira, fundadora do Hospital do Fogo Selvagem. O velório ocorre na própria instituição e o enterro será por volta das 11 horas da manhã do dia 23/12. Exemplo de humildade e inesgotável amor ao próximo D. Cida se transformou em ícone da caridade naquela cidade mineira, sendo admirada pela comunidade em geral e por baluartes do movimento espírita como Chico Xavier e Dr. Inácio Ferreira. Dona Cida, que recebia a todos os visitantes com muito carinho, também nos recebeu com muita afabilidade e doçura, inclusive nos concedendo entrevista para a Folha Espírita, publicada em setembro de 1999. Dona Cida, receba o nosso reconhecimento através das preces que brotam do fundo dos nossos corações.
